General Questions

  • The STEM Summer Camp is a two-week, all-inclusive program hosted at the University of Waterloo, co-facilitated with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. This camp is designed for international students in Grades 10 to 12. The camp combines hands-on STEM learning, university-style classes, and an immersive Canadian campus living experience. Inspire2Canada Inc. is the authorized recruiting partner.

  • The camp is open to international students in grades 10-12 who have an interest in STEM subjects and are considering future studies in Canada.

  • No prior advanced experience is required. Students should have a general interest in STEM subjects. All instruction is guided by experienced university professors.

  • Students will stay in University of Waterloo on-campus residence, with supervised accommodation, meals, and campus facilities included as part of the all-inclusive program.

  • Students should have basic English proficiency sufficient to participate in classes, group activities, and daily campus life. Formal test scores are not required.

    Not Included: International flights, visa application fees, and personal expenses.

Travel & Visa

  • It depends which country you are coming from. Students may apply for an electronice travel authorization (eTA) or a visitor visa. Our team provides visa application assistance. Please contact us for more information.

    • Yes! Parents can travel with their children but will need a separate tourist visa.

  • A medical support team will be available, and students will be covered by mandatory health insurance.

Post-Camp Opportunities

  • Yes! We offer study permit services to help students enroll in high schools and universities in Canada.

  • Absolutely! The program is an excellent addition to university applications, especially for students interested in STEM fields.
